Ron Mrowiec

Ron has been on Star since 2018, born and raised in the Chicago area, he
started his love for radio playing DJ as a kid with his cassette player and Mr.
Microphone, doing his best to copy the great jocks.  He has worked and been
surrounded by great talent throughout his radio career, at WLS / Z95 in
Chicago, 97ZOK in Rockford, Y108 in Aurora and 101.9 The Mix in Chicago.
That continues with the outstanding staff at Star 105.5! Ron likes nothing
more than our great listeners joining him, on air, on the stream and on social
media as he does his best to keep you entertained and informed, while
playing great Star Music. Ron currently lives in Wauconda with his wife Leisa,
who Co-Host with him on the Star 105.5 Public Affairs program Northwest
Spectrum every Sunday mornings.
