Hello! My name is Tessie.
I am a 9-month-old female boxer mix, but kind of on the smaller side. The last time I was weighed I was just under 30 pounds. All my friends at the shelter will tell you I am a sweet, outgoing girl and love to play. I am best friends with everyone I meet. I also know “sit”! A good scratching is always great, too. The other dogs always look super fun to play with. I was transferred here all the way from Kentucky and I am still looking for my forever home. Please call Helping Paws Animal Shelter to set up an appointment and meet me.
Hey there, friend! My name is Solomon.
I traveled from Southern Illinois to Helping Paws, for my second chance. I am a 5-month-old hound mix. I am an active boy and I love to play. Cuddling is also one of my favorite pastimes! Sometimes I really show my ‘houndy’ side by my bark; the staff thinks it’s cute. I am always ready to meet new people and I always want to play with the other dogs. Even the kitties look fun to play with. If you would like to come play with me, call Helping Paws Animal Shelter to make an appointment.
My name is Vap!
It is nice to meet you. I am a male 4-month-old domestic short haired kitty. I came from a kill shelter in Southern Illinois, with my mom and 4 siblings. I am the last one from my litter looking for a home. I love to cuddle with the staff and volunteers. I also enjoy playing; chasing after jingly balls and mice is super fun! If you play with me one on one in a room, you will probably hear me chirping; that is my excited noise. What’s more exciting than getting attention and love? If you would like to come cuddle with me, call Helping Paws Animal Shelter to make an appointment.
Hey friends! My name is Lily.
I came to Helping Paws all the way from Oklahoma. I am a sweet, 8-month-old large breed mix. When I first meet you, I may seem a little shy but after a couple minutes I will ask you to rub my belly and play. I love other dogs too! They make me super excited and happy. I am told I am a smart girl; I know sit and I am amazing at going potty outside. Walking well on a leash is very easy for me, too! I love when my human friends cuddle with me and give me attention. If you would like to meet me and give me a belly rub, call Helping Paws Animal Shelter today.
