3/20: A “Stay At Home” Order for Illinois has been put into place. This includes extending school closures for all of Illinois through 4/7 as ordered by Gov. J.B. Pritzker. Click HERE for further information about the mandate and Essential Business exclusions.

3/18: The University of Illinois has canceled commencement ceremonies set for May at Urbana-Champaign, Chicago and Springfield campuses
3/16: All Illinois Secretary of State offices and Driver Service facilities are CLOSED to the public through April 7, 2020, due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Expiration dates for driver’s licenses, identification (ID) cards, vehicle registrations and other transactions and document filings will be extended by 30 days through an emergency rule.
3/15: All bars and restaurants in Illinois must close their doors to dine-in customers through April 7th
3/18: Traffic court, family court, juvenile court, criminal court cases are continued until further order of the court. Only emergency and statutorily mandated court hearings, as identified in the attached, will be held. If people have questions, they can call the Circuit Clerk of the Court at 815-334-4190 or Court Administration at 815-334-4385.
3/17: The Genesee Theatre in Waukegan canceled shows through April 11.
