2024 Broadcast HOPE for Turning Point

Every year, Star 105.5 rallies around a very special cause to bring families back together and help those develop a voice through the only domestic violence agency and services in the area – Turning Point. We are confronting domestic violence in McHenry County!

This year, we encourage you to HEAR the MISSION and help where you can whether it’s a donation or spreading positivity for those families who need it.

ANYONE who is a domestic violence victim can lose their way, we want them to know that Turning Point is here for THEM from the moment they make the call, walking into the shelter, realizing you can heal from this and gain your self worth back!

You are welcome to join Turning Point October, 3rd at 6PM on the Woodstock Square for a candlelight vigil in memory of those lost to domestic violence. This is a moment to honor their lives, raise awareness, and stand united against violence. Together, we can be a light in the darkness. Turning Point and McHenry County College have a special event on October 24th for a special movie screening of The Last Drop, a powerful film that explores the harsh realities of intimate partner violence in teen and young adult relationships.
