11A-2P - RELAXATION LUNCH WITH INFINITY DAY SPA
Come by during your lunch hour to get a 10 minute massage for $10 from Infinity Day Spa…a spa experience you’ll remember forever!  All proceeds go to Turning Point.
 
3P - Ronald McDonald: The “Chief Happiness Officer” of the McDonalds Corporation is dropping by to “Take a Stand”! Ronald is the second best-known person in the world (second only to Santa) and has the “Smile that lights up the world.”  Come by and meet Ronald!

7P-10P - TALENT FOR TURNING POINT SHOW
FREE show open to the public featuring local artists singing cover songs and some even playing an instrument, a dancer and three comedians from Midwest Comedy Showcase! Line-Up is as follows:
 
Thea from Algonquin: A 10-year old artist extraordinaire playing guitar and singing some classic tunes and even one of her own!

Midwest Comedy Showcase  presents Lewis Rhine

 Larissa from McHenry is a dancer from Laura Cote School of Dance and will be performing a lyrical dance

Lena from Crystal Lake and Ryan from Cary will be performing some great tunes along with a guitar and tambourine

 Midwest Comedy Showcase presents Amelia Kleymann

Larissa from McHenry is back again to dance yet another beautiful lyrical number

Riley from McHenry a 16 year old with singing pipes of steel!

Marissa from Elmhurst is a 14 year singer who will send chills up your spine with her sweet sound

Midwest Comedy Showcase presents Matt Drufke

Jori from Crystal Lake is no stranger to the performance world with an exceptional talent behind the mic and on her guitar.
 
SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH
 
10A-2P - FAMILY FUN DAY!
FREE Event open to the public and great for families!
 
Crystal Lake Fire Department will be on hand with their “Safety Trailer” recreating situations that occur in a real fire and teaches you what to do to survive.

Crystal Lake Police Department will be doing Child Safety Car Seat checks from 10a-12p…did you know that over one-half of all child safety seats in the US are improperly installed??  Don’t let yours be one of them!

Several kids games like “Pitch-N-Toss” and “Pick a Sucker” will be played with prizes being awarded!

Facepainting!

Local, competitive and award-winning cheerleaders from Cheer Fusion will be performing some of their amazing cheers, dancing and tumbling!!

Local band “No Clear Way” will be performing at 1P

"Take a Stand Band” will be playing with a hopeful message
