The McHenry Drive in was crowded on Friday night for the double feature of Back to the Future and Jaws. They have to go digital and YOU responded this weekend by coming through with your family and friends to see two great movies. Thanks to the Volo Auto Museum for bringing out the Delorean from Back to the Future AND the Mystery Machine too! We had so much fun! I know that the Outdoor will be open next year. Check out more of the pics by clicking here!

A really cool moment was when Scott Dehn, the president of Golden Age Cinema, let me START the film for Back to the Future for what would be one of the last times since theaters are going all digital. It was caught on video to share with you. A personal thrill and exciting to be part of a moment. Watch the video of me starting Back to the Future by clicking here.

I had my boys over the weekend and we carved pumpkins, decorated the house in Halloween stuff, and had a blast! My mom had a vase (a waterford?) that she loved so much. When I was at Jewel I decided to grab some pretty fall colored flowers and put them on the table. My boys know this vase is special and never dare touch it! So beautiful and another nice daily reminder of my mom and how special she was!

If you haven't heard I'm running in the Care 4 Breast Cancer 5K on October 21st. You can donate in honor or memory of someone if you'd like! I'm trying to make it to $5,000 to help women here in McHenry County thanks to the Family Health Partnership Clinic. A great, local organization.

Saturday at Buffalo Wild Wings was so much fun for the Coors Light Gameday! We watched Notre Dame just DESTROY the Miami Hurricanes at Soldier Field all the while giving out tons of Coors Light Prize packs and signing you up for the big Coors Light Football cooler. Tom Calanko (sp?) is 24 and a Army Sgt. back from a second tour of Afghanistan. We recognized him and his family was so happy he is home! He was one big muscle but such a sweet guy too. His wife wouldn't stop smiling. Thanks to all of our military men and women and their families for what they do for us!

This Saturday (the 13th) we are at Sideouts Bar and Grill in Island Lake for another Gameday chance to win more Coors Light prizes!
