How Joe and Tina make coffee / Care 4 Breast Cancer Donation Page

Oct 03, 2012 -- 4:27am

In my bid to raise $5,000 for the early detection and treatement of breast cancer to women in McHenry County I'm sharing stories of the loss of my mom in 2008. A happy one today! The day that my first son, Steven, was born we didn't know if he'd be a boy or girl. We wanted a surprise.

At the hospital I had the pleasure of rushing down to tell both of our families about it. As the elevator doors opened I saw my mom first in a sea of people and said , "It's a Boy!" she shouted "YES!" and gave me a big hug. We named him after my late father.

There are few surprises in life and this one moment is seared in my memory forever. If you would like to donate even just a few dollars I'd be honored to run so more moments like this can happen for others! NO MORE GOODBYES! Donate here: http://bit.ly/SxFCmR

Joe and Tina have been talking about how there was no CAFFEINATED coffee at the radio station! Well, a new shipment finally arrived! They were too happy to show the routine that they go through to make a pot every morning. Maybe you have the same ritual? Enjoy!
