September 26 ~ Los Lobos
    ~ More than three decades have passed since Los Lobos released their debut album, Just Another Band From East L.A. Since then they've repeatedly disprove that title.  Los Lobos is a band that has consistently evolved artistically while never losing sight of their humble roots.

    Part of Raue Center's third annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.

September 29 ~ Joyce & BIll Dwyer Annual Legacy Concert
    ~ America Stage to Screen - This concert is very close to our hearts as it is in memory of two of Raue Center For The Arts' visionaries. Joyce and Bill embodied the spirit of Raue Center and the spirit is a huge part of who we are to this day.  

    This special concert will be featuring the Elgin Symphony Orchestra and appearances by Voices in Harmony.

October 25 to November 2 ~ Sweeney Todd
    ~ A musical thriller! A Sondheim musical based on the 1973 play Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street by Christopher Bond. When the unjustly    imprisoned Sweeney Todd returns to London, he vows revenge upon those who framed him. Joining forces with Mrs. Lovett, he kills and she bakes his customers into her meat pies.

November 8 ~ Dr. John
    ~ Dr. John, or Mac Rebennack as known to friends and family, is universally celebrated as the living embodiment of the rich musical heritage of New Orleans. His colorful musical career began in the 1950s when he wrote and played guitar on some of the greatest records to come out of the Crescent City.

November 29 to December 8 ~ It's a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play
    ~ Featuring a special concert, which celebrates the music and style of Abba in a respectful and enjoyable way, ABBA MANIA revives special memories of when    'Abba' ruled the airwaves.  Their songs are timeless and will last forever.  Join in and enjoy all of your favorites!

December 13 ~ Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra: Holiday Pops concert
    ~ A Raue Center holiday tradition!  Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops concert provides quality orchestral music through festive combinations of contemporary and classical holiday music!

December 15 ~ Voices in Harmony: Sing-Along Messiah
    ~ The community and the Voices in Harmony choir join their voices with Handel's great masterwork. It is presented with a 25-piece orchestra, excellent soloists and projections of beautiful calligraphy by Timothy Botts.  The McHenry County College Chorus will supplement the on-stage choir. Truly a community performances, one of our area's most meaningful holiday traditions.

December 21 & December 22 ~ The Nutcracker Ballet
    ~ Tchaikovsky's unforgettable music, emotional dancing and lavish costumes come to Raue Center's stage for another fantastic year. 
    This production is presented by Berkshire Ballet Theatre.

December 31 ~ New Years Eve Comedy Show
    ~ Wouldn't it be great if there were a NYE show you could see ans still be home falling asleep by 11? Good news...there is...because Steve Cochran, Mike    Toomey and Joh Dacosse will be very funny (and done by 10pm). Yes, the best in stand up comedy on stage means you will have a great time saying goodbye to 2013 at Raue Center.

January 31 ~ Mad River Theatre Works' Everybody's Hero: The Jackie Robinson Story
    ~ Back by popular demand and just in time for African American History Month! When Branch Rickey decided to add a black person to the Brooklyn Dodgers, he    knew that individual had to be special.  He had to be strong enough to stand up and turn the other cheek to the teammates who would ridicule him, the pitchers who would throw at him and the fans who would send him threats.
