The McHenry County Illinois Genealogical Society is a non-profit, tax exempt organization of family history researchers from all over the United States, Canada and Germany.  

The purpose of MCIGS is to foster an interest in genealogy, provide instruction in family research methods and practices, and preserve early McHenry County records.
