The Clayworkers' Guild Of Illinois Presents The Members' 12th Annual Ceramic Art Show And Sale At The Old Court House Arts Center On The Historic Woodstock Square.
The Exhibition Displays The Guild Members' Work And Provides An Opportunity For The Community To Purchase Items From Local Potters.
This year, the show will be judged by Emily Reason.
Emily currently works as a full time potter in her Marshall, NC studio and is the author of Ceramics for Beginners: Wheel Throwing, Lark Books, 2010. She exhibits her work nationally and teaches pottery workshops around the country.
The Gala Reception Event this year is by Invitation Only this is where the Invited Guests get to meet the Artists Monday, October 15, From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Clayworkers' Guild Of Illinois Is An Organization Of Craftsmen And Artists Who Use Clay As An Expressive Medium.
The Guild Strives To Aid, Encourage, Advise, And Work Together To Support Each Other's Endeavors.
Through Its Various Activities The Clayworker' Guild Serves The Community By Supporting Exhibits And Workshops, For Both Its Membership And The Public,
In All Aspect Of Ceramics And Related Arts. The Guild Hosts Several Activities During The Calendar Year Including Workshops, Gallery Shows, And Annual Sales Of Works In Clay.
The Clayworkers' Guild Also Promotes The Ryan Long Scholarship Fund At McHenry County College.
This need based scholarship is awarded to Art Students this allows them to continue by providing them with encouragement and a small financial contribution.
The Guild also participates in the empty bowl fundraiser each year. this regional event helps raise money for the homeless.
Guild Meetings Are Held Monthly Providing Means To Share Ideas And Support To Each Member.
