The high school baseball programs from Hampshire & Woodstock North have joined forces with St. Louis Cardinals reliever Jason Motte, in an effort to raise money for people affected by cancer.
The Let's Strike Out Cancer project that is being run by the Jason Motte Foundation in conjunction with the Major League Baseball Players Association.
On May 17th at Hampshire High School, a Fox Valley Conference battle will take place on the baseball diamond, but an even bigger battle will take place as Woodstock North & Hampshire will join forces to 'Strike Out Cancer'.
Each player from both rosters will don LA Dodger, AJ Ellis Strike Out Cancer tees from 108stitches.com. AJ, a Wisconsin resident who works out at the Rawlings Hitters facility in Racine, WI will have his shirts donated by RJ Fergus.
